Sunday 1st of august was a 23 hour day for me. Which gave me good reason to wonder exactly why i was awake on 4 hours sleep, on a bike before 6 in the morning, on a bus at half 6, back on the bike at half 8 for a 14k cycle with tri supplies on the back. Then there was the hard part. The race. I still havent worked out why I did this, perhaps I was dropped as a child.
There will be no session on the bank holiday but a little home work as promised. Before Athy we did a set at the top of Howth finishing at the car park just below the Summit. I am suggesting that you do the same set of 1 minute efforts X6 with easy recovery of about 5/6 minutes. This can be done on any hill but preferably not too steep.
looking to head to France for 3 - 5 days in the next months or so for a cycling holiday. Preferably taking in some of the Cols on this years Tour or something similar - legs and training permitting.
Has anybody done anything similar or know of any tour companies offering this

After having to cancel session last Saturday, the brick session will be back on this Saturday. Kiwana will be minding bikes, meet at the NAC, at 9.30 am, and cycle as a group to Damastown Industrial Estate, where session will take place.
