Lord Mayor Series 5th Round

Havent done a race report in a while so thought id slot this one down...
Raheny Lord Mayor Series is a series of 2 mile races, this was the 5th installment of the summer with the final one next tuesday. The distance is similar to one of my target goals (3000m) so i thought it would give me a good gauge on where i was. Originally the plan was to start fast and stick in with a pack. Fail.

Open Water Season - week 9 Thurs July 22nd Bull Wall @ 19.30

This weeks open water session is again at the northside location. Ill definitely venture to the south side again soon but with the shelter provided by both the south and north walls its a better option for our needs at the moment. Also, theres been no reports of jellyfish in that area for some time now.

Earn your t-shirt; The IMRA Lenister League - race report

My mountain running exploits started in May of this year when my neighbour mentioned that he was heading to run Bray Head one Wednesday evening. Having planned to run anyway, I headed out with him thinking it might be fun. Sure it was only 5k. Seeing James Dunphy there assured me that it was a serious event for hardcore runners!.
