Skerries Sprint - race report

I guess when you do your first race of the year you kinda have to do a race report ! Skerries Sprint, last Sunday, was my first outing for 2010. A frustrating few months injured, achilies tendonitis, no running and plenty of rehab. I had a stop-start winter of run training and I guess I saw sense when I visited Aidan Woods Physio and began the treatment to allow me race.

How many bits you do will be dependent on level. Tough but accessable to all.

Good luck to all in Athlone

Disclaimer before this story begins: If there are typing errors, it is due to high stress levels!

Every year for the past three or four years I have spent a few days cycling the cols in and around a place called Macot in France. This year, I decided to drag along a few unsuspecting club members and be very economical with the truth as to what was actually involved.

For all you rugby fans..

New Swim Block

A new swim block starts this Thursday. As usual there'll be two sessions: the first at 6:55pm and the second at 7:50pm, each lasting 55min.

The block will run for 11 weeks until 9/Sept (though this has to be confirmed). Also as usual it'll be first come first served on the available spaces.
