One of the advance jobs for Fingal is posting flyers this weekend to houses on the route advising of the race next weekend. Is anyone available this weekend for an hour or so to assist with this? Need two-four people. Fairly quick and an easy job.
Thanks,
Thomas

Depart Popes Cross @ 8.30am sharp. Journey : 60km to 70km. Pace moderate.
Weather looks crap: During Saturday, there will be rain in all parts of the country, with eastern counties bearing the brunt for most of the day; winds will remain fresh or strong from a northeasterly direction and temperatures will be well below the norm for May.
A drop of rain never hurt anyone ! good irish summer....
Text 087/9128420 if interested.
Regards
Dermot

Hi there,
We have a free talk this evening which may be of interest to you and your members. Liam Dolan will be presenting a free talk on balancing full time triathlon training and competing, with work and family commitments.
Liam is an elite-level athlete who competes over mid- and Ironman-length courses. He will participate in this year’s Hawaiian Ironman. He dedicates a huge amount of time to training and competing while also running his own business. Liam will give an insight into his training and how he manages to fit it all in.

Has anyone had recent experience of Aer Lingus enforcing their 15kg limit on bike/bike boxes? From what I hear, it's not strictly enforced but experience varies depending on who you deal with at check-in.

Frost on cars, ambulance ready for hypothermia casualties, very nervous looking people bouncing around the shoreline of Lough Lene....yup it's the already classic tri an mhi Half Ironman. 3d were out in force from the glossy ponies to the skinny speedies - there were a lot of unspoken rivalries to be settled:)
